Sellers may only post woodworking-related digital plans or approved products. Items outside of the approved categories, especially illegal or dangerous items, are prohibited.Circumventing Fees or Policies
Attempting to bypass platform fees or policies (e.g., by directing buyers to external sites) is not allowed and will result in action against the seller’s account.
Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of the Seller Policies will be handled through a tiered approach, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.
First-Time or Minor Violations (Warnings)
- For minor offenses or first-time violations, sellers will receive a formal warning via email or platform message.
- The seller will be required to correct the issue (e.g., removing the prohibited content) within a reasonable timeframe.
- Further violations will lead to more severe actions.
Repeat or Moderate Violations (Temporary Suspension)
- For more serious or repeat offenses, sellers will face a temporary suspension of their account for 7-30 days.
- During the suspension, the seller will be unable to upload new products or make sales.
- Sellers must resolve the violation before their account is reinstated, with clear notice that further violations will lead to permanent suspension.
Severe or Continuous Violations (Permanent Ban)
- In cases of severe violations, such as fraud, repeated rule-breaking, or selling non-original plans, the seller’s account will be permanently banned.
- All listings will be removed from the platform, and the seller will no longer be able to use the marketplace.
- A final explanation will be provided, and the decision will be irreversible.
Additional Measures
- Removal of Content: Non-compliant listings or content will be immediately removed.
- Forfeiture of Fees: Sellers may forfeit any fees tied to the violation, including listing or transaction fees.
- Buyer Refunds: In cases where buyers have been affected by fraudulent or misrepresented products, refunds may be issued at Woodshop Marketplace’s discretion.
